This position is reporting to the Chief Digital Officer, the Manager of E-Commerce will lead on-site merchandising and manage our email marketing and SMS program. Having a strong balance of Brand aesthetic and analytical acumen, the E-Commerce Manager will drive sales and the customer experience

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with the Art Director and graphic designer to manage on-site visual merchandising, with a strategic approach to new collection launches, best sellers, seasonal key investments, and liable styles.  
  • Partner with CDO and Art Director to define content and storytelling strategy for Email and SMS, based on revenue targets and stock position.
  • Lead the launch of new Collections. Liaise with key stakeholders, including Digital Production and Merchant and Web teams to manage all operational aspects for go-live, including image uploads, product description readiness, product merchandising by category and on-site search setup.
  • Lead merchandising of key areas of the site including the Shop the Look Page, On-Site Search and Cross-Sell areas.
  • Manage the daily work of the copywriter to optimize email creative and template structure based on best practices.
  • Manage and execute email/SMS marketing calendar and ensure alignment with business priorities, demand forecasts, and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage operational setup and deployment of emails in the Klayvio email platform.
  • Partner with CDO and email marketing consultancy to set up and optimize triggered campaigns across the customer lifecycle including prospecting, win-back, nurturing post-purchase, loyalty, retention, surveys, and transactional emails.
  • Build effective target audiences and segments for every message to drive engagement and revenue performance against KPI goals.
  • Partner with Head of Data & Analytics to analyze performance for the channel, with daily and weekly recaps of email and SMS KPIs that include opens, clicks, conversions, revenue, revenue lift, unsubscribes, etc. Partner with Head of Data & Analytics to use customer data such as web behavior to drive the message and content personalization.
  • Devise and execute A/B tests, manage the testing calendar, record results, and advise on improvements. Testing includes subject lines, message content, CTAs, customer cohorts, and segments, send time, and new features intended to drive performance lift.
  • Managing regularly identify trends and email marketing strategies from other leading global brands to glean insights on best practices and new innovative ideas for email marketing tactics, including audits of how we can acquire, nurture and retain these customers.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university (Business or marketing degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of digital e-commerce experience, with experience in on-site merchandising and email and SMS Marketing. Experience with a luxury or fashion retailer is strongly preferable.
  • Experience with an e-commerce merchandising tool [such as SearchSpring or SalesForce] and an email platform [such as Klayvio] is strongly preferable.
  • Careful attention to detail without sacrificing deadlines.  The right candidate will be able to juggle deadlines and priorities while executing flawlessly.
  • High ability to keep themselves and Managers on the team organized.
  • Strong analytical skills, and the ability to compile, analyze and leverage performance data to both identify optimization within the current business and new opportunities for growth. Must be passionate about presenting a fact-based argument and enjoy numbers.
  • High comfort and functional level in Excel/ Google sheets. Fluency in Word, PowerPoint and G-Suite applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a corporate work environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must
  • Display a can-do attitude
Estimated Compensation: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 Per Year
