- Prepare profit and loss statement monthly for eight branches
- Develop and implement programs to optimize operating cost, profitability and provide
- recommendations to enhance financial performance
- Prepare annual budgets and assist with forecasts
- Communicate to the regions, corporate standard operating procedures (SOPs) in day-to-day
- financial activities
- Streamline and optimize daily accounting processes and controls
- Supervise and train eight branch Administrators on day-to-day job functions
- Reconcile monthly backlog report to branch profit & loss statements
- Reconcile job cost operating results to branch P&L results and make necessary adjustments
- Review the regions balance sheet and reconcile the accounts
- Monitor A/R at all branch locations and assist in collections of accounts
- Assist in calculation of special checks for employees, such as layoffs and underpay that are cut at
- branches
- Assist the branches and Region Manager with hourly and semi-monthly employment, employee
- relations, EOC, training and salary planning
- Ensure hourly pay rates and benefits per unions are updated in the system and union employees
- are paid at correct rates
- Review subcontract documentation to ensure compliance, including but not limited to contract
- language, insurance requirements, and bonds
- Oversee all union master agreements and thorough understanding of specifications included in
- union bargaining agreements
- Oversee and assist in all union audits by gathering information on employees and meeting with
- union representatives to ensure payroll has been reported accurately
- Review general ledger financial statements including preparation of journal entries
