Support leadership and encourage company-wide completion of security awareness training
Respond to audit and penetration testing
Address outstanding issues, establish baselines, and eventually become a proactive resource

An architecture, networking, or infrastructure systems background with a desire to move into security
Some level of autonomy in network engineering knowledge
The relevant infrastructure knowledge required to identify resources and make recommendations
Experience working on PCI issues is a plus!
