Position will be responsible for support, development, testing and implementing programs and services that integrate between dissimilar systems. Supporting Intra-net development, enterprise service bus and API buildout as these practices evolve and become integrated into the GIII domain.
Major Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Developing web services in .NET / C#.
- Developing programs on Windows platform that interacts with iSeries /DB2 database, my SQL
- Developing integration points – using ArcESB, APIs, XML, etc.
- UPS and FedEx shipping solutions (Shipping Label Generation)
- PIM Integration (Salsify)
- BI Reporting Platforms – QLIK, Cognos, etc.
- Developing reports and data-extracts in Excel and Pivot
- Developing and supporting Intra-Net applications
- SharePoint, Google
- Implementing best practices
- Documenting business functional and technical requirements – using standard templates
- Developing and executing testing to ensure delivery of functionality – using standard templates
- Work in SDLC controlled environment/Change Management
- Work closely with IT and business partners to assure the timeliness for the completion of projects and changes
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database related issues – utilizing Queries and SQL tools
Education and/or Experience:
- Knowledge and experience in API, FTP and sFTP protocols, JSON, XML, CSV integration schemas
- Preferred – experience with Enterprise Service Bus integration products/concepts
- Strong development skills in 3G and 4G languages – including .NET, C#, JAVA, API development
- Strong knowledge of Databases – including SQL, MySQL, DB2, DB400, other rational databases
- Knowledge of capturing and documenting Technical Requirements, Functional Requirements, and Test Scripts
- Must have good communication and complex problem solving skills
- Must be familiar and able to define and build documents using standard tools
- Word, Excel, Power Point, Project and Visio (including process flows, swim-lanes, integration schemas)
