Position Summary: We’re looking for a skilled Senior Full-Stack Salesforce Developer to join our clients team. As a vital member of the tech department, you’ll design, develop, and implement innovative solutions on the Salesforce platform for multiple websites. The ideal candidate has strong front-end and back-end skills, along with extensive experience in Salesforce technologies.

We’re seeking an individual to drive ongoing enhancements and improvements to our SFCC platform. Ownership of programmatic requests is a key aspect. You’ll collaborate closely with our SFCC developers, working together to formulate specifications aligned with stakeholder needs, validating proposals, and successfully delivering solutions. Your contribution will be central to our platform’s growth and success. 

Work Model:

The work model is primarily remote; however, candidates should be open to attending in-person meetups at the Stamford, CT office once per quarter.
The candidate must be based on the US Eastern Time.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions on the Salesforce platform.
  • Design scalable and efficient architecture for custom Salesforce applications, integrations, and enhancements.
  • Provide technical leadership in evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies and tools to ensure optimal solution delivery.
  • Develop and maintain both front-end and back-end components of Salesforce applications, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and seamless user experiences.
  • Build and optimize REST and SOAP integrations with external systems.
  • Create and manage custom objects, fields, workflows, job configurations, validation rules, and other configuration elements.
  • Design and implement data integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.
  • Mentor and guide developers in implementing high-quality solutions.
  • Debug and resolve technical issues related to Salesforce applications, integrations, and customizations.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize code and configurations for better system performance.

Attributes:

  • Develop front-end and back-end components of websites to ensure seamless user experiences and optimal performance.
  • Implement responsive designs that work seamlessly across various devices and screen sizes such as Landing Pages, PDPs, PLPs, Checkout flow.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and tools to enhance website functionality and provide valuable features for users.
  • Implement interactive elements and dynamic content to engage users and create immersive online experiences.
  • Execute all steps required to deploy/implement the application solution.
  • Perform regular updates, security patches, and maintenance tasks to ensure websites are running smoothly and securely.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, development guidelines, and user documentation.
  • Share knowledge and insights with the team to foster continuous learning and improvement

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of professional website development experience with SFCC, encompassing proficiency in both front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and contemporary web development frameworks.
  • Proficiency with tools like Github, Bitbucket, and Jenkins is essential.
  • Preferred certifications: Salesforce Certified Administrator, Business Analyst, Platform App Builder, B2C Solution Architect, B2C Commerce Developer.
  • Preferred experience with SFCC Web Services APIs, including Force.com SOAP and REST-based Web Service APIs, Bulk API, and Metadata API.
  • Familiarity with security concepts, including single sign-on and data security.
  • Proficiency in setting up a local environment using technologies like Visual Studio, Apache, PHP, MySQL, NodeJS, GitBash, Source Tree, Python, and other relevant tools.
  • Skilled in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Capable of exercising sound judgment, decision-making, and creative problem-solving.
  • Ability to comprehend complex architectural environments.
  • Able to translate general direction into detailed solutions.
  • Enjoys providing support and assistance to meet project requirements.
  • Demonstrated analytical capabilities, including resolving complex technical issues.
  • Strong grasp of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
  • Familiarity with techniques and tools for optimizing website performance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, collaborating effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in all phases of software development life cycle methodologies and processes.
  • Proven performance within a high-achieving teamwork context.
  • Adherence to programming standards and methodologies.

Environmental Factors:

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time

Estimated Compensation: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 Per Year
