As our Senior Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Developer, you’ll play a vital role. We are looking for an individual that will be central to continually improving and enhancing the SFCC platform for our organization.  We are looking for someone who can take ownership of all programmatic requests. You will work alongside our SFCC Administrator to collaborate on specifications based on stakeholder requirements, validate the proposals, and deliver the solutions.

This person can be based on the US West Coast and working Pacific Time.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the analysis and review of business requirements and the design of solutions.
  • Apply best practices and experience to SFCC solutions.
  • Develop work estimates for projects.
  • Perform support and development activities for applications/projects assigned to the team.
  • Document application specifications and solutions to satisfy project requirements.
  • Identify and evaluate vendor/partner software and integration strategies.
  • Develop and code solutions to specification.
  • Ability to lead design sessions and communicate design options to clients.
  • Identify and implement appropriate testing strategies.
  • Execute all steps required to deploy/implement the application solution.
  • Participate in a self-directed team environment. Collaborate with project team members and QA on development, customer issues, and security requirements.
  • Mentorship of junior colleagues a must.

Preferred Skills/Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science area required.
  • 4+ years SFCC experience, integration and configuration required.
  • Experience with Github, Bitbucket, Jenkins required.
  • Salesforce accredited certifications (specifically: Certified Administrator, Business Analyst, Platform App Builder, B2C Solution Architect, B2C Commerce Developer) preferred.
  • Experience with SFCC Web Services APIs – Force.com SOAP and REST-based Web Service APIs, the Bulk API, and the Metadata API preferred.
  • Working knowledge of security concepts such as single sign on and data security.
  • Experience in Agile, Scrum and Waterfall methods.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment, decision making and creativity.
  • Ability to readily grasp complex architectural environments.
  • Ability to work from general direction in the development of detailed solutions.
  • Must enjoy assisting others in supporting project needs.
  • Demonstrated analytical capabilities including complex technical problem solving.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience in all phases of software development life cycle methodologies and processes.
  • Demonstrated work performance in a high-performance teamwork environment.
  • Ability to follow and adhere to programming standards and methodologies.
