Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Data Analyst with expertise in Power BI to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming data into actionable insights, generating reports and dashboards, and providing valuable recommendations to support informed business decisions.
Responsibilities:
Data Visualization and Reporting:
Develop visually appealing and informative reports and dashboards using Power BI to present data insights.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements and effectively communicate complex data.
Data Transformation and Analysis:
Clean, transform, and process large datasets to extract meaningful insights.
Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and provide actionable recommendations based on findings.
Data Integration:
Integrate and combine data from multiple sources to create comprehensive and insightful visualizations.
Optimize data models for performance and efficiency, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
Data Interpretation and Communication:
Interpret data to identify business trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
Effectively communicate analytical findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, understand business objectives, and prioritize analytical projects.
Work closely with other data analysts and stakeholders to ensure data consistency and accuracy across reporting systems.
Continuous Learning and Improvement:
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data visualization and Power BI capabilities.
Continuously improve skills and knowledge to enhance data analysis techniques and reporting capabilities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems).
Proven experience in data analysis, visualization, and reporting using Power BI or similar tools.
Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and other data manipulation and analysis tools.
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau, QlikView, or Looker.
Experience with Object Oriented Programming Languages such as .Net, R, and Python
Knowledge of advanced analytics and machine learning concepts.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and related services.
Experience with data governance and quality assurance processes.
