Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled WMS Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and documenting business requirements, configuring and customizing the WMS system including EDI transactions, and providing ongoing support and training to end-users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with business stakeholders to identify, analyze and document business requirements related to warehouse management and supply chain operations.
- Configure and customize the WMS system to meet the specific needs of our business, including developing workflows, data integrations, and reports.
- Provide ongoing support to end-users, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, providing training, and creating documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and logistics, to ensure successful system implementation and adoption.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in WMS technology and recommend new features and functionalities to improve our warehouse operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and security protocols.
- Understand and communicate EDI requirements and first draft mapping.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience working with Datex WMS or other warehouse management systems.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping.
- Experience in configuring and customizing WMS system, including workflows, integrations, and reports.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into system requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of SQL and other programming languages is a plus.
- Knowledge of EDI transaction sets used in a warehouse setting.
