The Director of Fulfillment and Processes is both a strategic and hands-on leader managing third party warehousing and distribution, and is responsible for ensuring the company’s daily operational activities run smoothly and effectively. In this role, you will develop and implement new methods to achieve cost savings while delivering best practices in third party distribution, vendor selection, negotiation, and wholesale as well as direct to consumer warehouse solutions. As the Director of Fulfillment and Processes you will be responsible for development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives relating to distribution to drive lower cost, higher productivity, and industry-leading flexibility, quality, and customer satisfaction.

· This position reports directly to the Sr. Vice President of Fulfillment & Logistics.

Responsibilities
· Oversee third party contract logistics performance including receiving, order fulfillment, shipping and inventory control.
· Participate with senior management in the development and formulation of long and short-range planning, policies, programs and objectives related to third party logistics and wholesale operations.
· Ensure compliance with specified contracts metrics, personnel activities and maintain high standards in operational activities.
· Ensure quality management system procedures are implemented.
· Ensure that service levels and operational performance goals are met within prescribed parameters.
· Identify competitive strategies and evaluate, adjust or redesign processes accordingly ensuring thorough communication of action items to the impacted cross-functional teams.
· Develop reporting tools to measure, compare and communicate performance metrics.
· Routinely revisit existing processes to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
· Assist in establishing customer service standards for all accounts, and communicating these standards to all personnel.
· Maintain appropriate contact with all internal and external customers, responding to requests in a timely manner.

Qualifications
· 10+ years of broad logistics and wholesale distribution management experience in progressively senior positions.
· Experience with creating and leading continuous process improvement initiatives.
· A degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or similar is a plus.
· Direct to Consumer experience is a plus.
· WMS knowledge with experience in automated conveyers, sortation and/or robotics.
· Working knowledge of vendor compliance with regards to customer requirements.
· Experience with both Union and non-Union workforces.

Estimated Compensation: $160,000.00 - $170,000.00 Per Year
