My client is seeking a contract Associate Manager of Advanced Analytics to play a key role in powering data-driven decision making in the digital business. As a member of the Data team, you’ll be vital to the day-to-day operations of the business by owning reporting and analysis of data to inform cross-functional decision-making. Your data-first perspective will also shape the development of our long-term business strategy and planning.
The ideal candidate is experienced in translating data into concise insights and recommendations that inform business operations and strategy. and should have a genuine passion for the intersection of analytics, retail, and social innovation.
What you’ll do:
- Create and maintain scalable reporting and dashboards to enable critical areas of the Omnichannel business
- Analyze and translate data into actionable learnings and recommendations to share with the Ecommerce leadership team and key stakeholders
- Collaborate with stakeholders to inform and assist analysts in best practices for Data Storytelling and Analysis methods
- Act as a data steward for the Data team to inform the future evolution of our reporting infrastructure and analyst enablement platform
- Instruct stakeholders on how to leverage critical tools like Looker or Tableau
Who you are:
- Backed by 5+ years in an analytics or relevant data-based business role (e.g., management consulting, Analytics Engineering, Data Science)
- Experienced with BI or reporting tools (Looker, Tableau, PowerBI) and writing SQL queries
- Understanding of omnichannel retail business KPIs and high-level frameworks (e.g., customer funnel analysis, assortment analytics, product lifecycle management)
- A strong verbal and visual storyteller who is able to translate data into clear, actionable takeaways and recommendations for diverse audiences
- Experienced in building and maintaining stakeholder relationships
Nice to haves
- Proficiency in a scripting language (e.g., R, Python)
- Proficiency in Forecasting, Statistics, Machine Learning, or other Quantitative areas
- Experience Digital Analytics, eCommerce Analytics
- Experience in Omnichannel Retail
