Seeking a Director of Global Marketing who possesses strong strategic, analytical, and creative skills but can also be in the details and execute.

This role will partner closely with the VP of Global Marketing to help plan long-term innovation strategy, build 360 marketing plans to achieve business objectives and guide the new product development process from start to finish. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead new launch development process from concept to go-to-market activation, collaborating with cross-functionals in Product Development, Operations, Creative, Consumer Engagement, E-commerce, Education & Sales
  • Develop credibility as a brand “product expert”. Partner closely with the product development team to shape compelling “why to buy” product storytelling, concepts, claims 
  • Serve as a strategic partner to VP Global Marketing to develop annual innovation pipeline, marketing budget, and brand plans to build equity and achieve business objectives
  • With the support of the VP, oversee strategic planning and best-in-class execution of integrated marketing activations including brand, innovation, and core re-support campaigns
  • Manage day-to-day relationship with PR and media agencies
  • Support the development of content & influencer marketing strategy in partnership with Consumer Engagement team
  • Oversee all retail marketing in US and Canada 
  • Lead, mentor and motivate a team of three direct reports (Senior Global Marketing Manager, Global Marketing Manager, Retail Marketing Manager)
  • Guide development of retailer and senior management presentations

Requirements:

 

  • 10+ years experience in a global product marketing role within the beauty industry, strong knowledge of skincare category ideal
  • Passionate about product, competitive activity, and consumer trends for what’s new + next. 
  • Strong mix of analytical, strategic, and creative storytelling skills with proven ability to connect insights + data to strategic recommendations, creative ideas, and actions. 
  • A strong leader who is comfortable getting into the details and executing, but is also able to develop higher level strategy and effectively orchestrate a team with clear frameworks and processes to drive results. 
  • Understanding of media with an ability to connect the dots from product concept to brief to final 360 GTM strategy. 
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills. 
  • Financial fluency 
  • Ability to develop and inspire a team of 3 direct reports 
  • Collaborative, communicative, and super organized team player who can juggle multiple projects at once
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and PowerPoint skills 
Estimated Compensation: $150,000.00 - $175,000.00 Per Year
