Our client is seeking a hands-on SAP functional professional to join the IT team and serve as a key partner to the business. This role will work closely with business users to understand their needs, improve processes, and translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions.
The ideal candidate brings strong functional SAP expertise, hands-on configuration experience, and excellent communication skills. You will be expected to build strong relationships with business stakeholders, understand how they operate, and use your SAP knowledge to configure and improve solutions that support the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with business users to understand requirements, business processes, and opportunities for improvement.
- Build and cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization and serve as a trusted SAP business partner.
- Translate business requirements into practical SAP solutions and functional specifications.
- Perform hands-on SAP configuration based on business requirements and established best practices.
- Support and enhance SAP S/4HANA functionality across relevant business processes.
- Leverage strong functional knowledge of SAP SD, with MM knowledge considered a plus.
- Participate in workshops, requirements gathering, process analysis, solution design, and implementation activities.
- Support system testing, including unit, integration, UAT, and regression testing.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Work with technical and functional teams on integrations between SAP and other enterprise applications, including WM, PLM, PIM, EDI, and related systems.
- Support SAP master data configuration, management, and bulk updates as needed.
- Stay current with SAP functionality and evaluate opportunities to improve business processes.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to system configuration, business processes, and user procedures.
- Support user training and adoption of new functionality.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3+ years of experience working with SAP, with strong functional expertise in SAP S/4HANA.
- Hands-on experience with SAP configuration is required.
- Strong functional SAP knowledge
- Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate business needs into SAP solutions.
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders and end users.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with SAP implementation methodologies and best practices.
- Familiarity with integrations, APIs, SAP BTP, or Fiori is a plus.
- SQL knowledge is a plus.
- A bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field is preferred.

Work Environment

Estimated Compensation: $90,000 - $120,000 Per Year
