- Location: New York, NY
- Type: Contract Remote
- Job #9405
We are migrating our ecommerce content ecosystem into Builder.io and are looking for an experienced contractor to own the end-to-end migration for the ecommerce team. This is a project-based engagement requiring someone who can hit the ground running, work independently, and deliver with precision across a large volume of page types.
Specific responsibilities:
- Lead the full migration of existing site content into Builder.io, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and quality across all page types- content pages, product listing pages (PLPs), and product detail pages (PDPs)
- Serve as the primary point of contact for migration progress, attending all project check-ins and reporting status updates to the internal team
- Identify risks, dependencies, and blockers early and communicate them proactively
- Ensure all migrated content meets brand, UX, and functional standards prior to handoff
- Own QA across all page launches — thoroughly testing migrated pages, identifying bugs, and troubleshooting issues through to resolution before go-live
- Work cross-functionally with the Builder.io project team including product, front-end development, creative, and UX to align on requirements, dependencies, and delivery
- Lead training sessions with the ecommerce team on Builder.io to ensure the team is equipped for ongoing content management and support post-migration
What you’ll need:
- Hands-on Builder.io platform experience
- Experience with other platforms Fastr (Zmags) and Salesforce Commerce Cloud is a plus
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams across product, engineering, creative, and UX
- Demonstrated project management skills — ability to scope, timeline, and self-manage a complex workstream
- Comfortable working cross-functionally and reporting progress to stakeholders in a structured way
- Experience with headless or composable commerce architectures
- Familiarity with structured content models and content governance
