Junior Account Manager or Customer Service Representative with Order Management experience
Job Description:
The successful candidate must be able to:
- Communicate daily with sales, operations, and various logistics departments to efficiently and accurately process, allocate and ship all customer orders based on specific retailer requirements.
- Provide assistance with all aspects of order lifecycle from order entry, to tracking and prioritizing inbound containers, allocation, picking, communicating to the warehouse throughout the process for timely routing and shipping of the freight
- Familiarity with routing for major retailers like Walmart/ Kohls/ Dollar Tree/ Big Lots/ Marshalls/ TJ Maxx/ Ross/ DDs/ Burlington/Amazon etc.
- Knowledge of retail compliance
- Has experience reviewing open order reports, understands available to sell/ oversolds/ inventory reconciliation,
- Exposure to ERP’s and WMS systems
- Coordinate with internal and external parties including client sales team/ warehouses to make sure everything for the accounts is under control.
- Resolve customer inquiries / concerns professionally and in a timely manner.
- Experience working with 3PL warehouses or in a 3PL environment and knowledge of order processing, routing, shipping , etc.
- Exposure working in logistics / supply chain at an importer or wholesaler.
- 2-3 years experience
