We are in search of a dynamic and ambitious Senior Manager of Ecommerce who excels in a fast-paced environment and is eager to play a key role in advancing our ecommerce division. This position is ideal for an individual who not only brings a strategic mindset but is also hands-on in their approach, ready to dive into the details to drive success. 

Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership: Direct and oversee the ecommerce team, encompassing customer service and site merchandising, ensuring high performance and efficiency while upholding best-in-class practices.
  2. Operational Efficiency: Identify, evaluate, and implement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and streamline processes within the Shopify platform.
  3. Execution Excellence: Manage product launches, web updates, and site merchandising, emphasizing timely and accurate execution.
  4. Partnerships: Develop and nurture relationships with key external partners, including web development, site personalization, warehouse, and other internal and external teams.
  5. Web Development Collaboration: Collaborate with web development agencies, employing strong project management skills to adhere to strict deadlines. Oversee project phases, including testing and implementation, ensuring optimal website experiences.
  6. Analytics: Utilize Shopify and Google Analytics for comprehensive web analytics, making data-driven decisions to optimize online presence and performance.
  7. Reporting and Insights: Prepare comprehensive reports, analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), and share insights with key stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.
  8. User Experience Enhancement: Evaluate the user experience (UX) across various categories and identify opportunities to simplify and enhance overall website navigation.
  9. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead cross-functional collaboration, ensuring seamless integration of marketing, merchandising, customer service, and operations to enhance the overall customer experience.
  10. Fulfillment and Returns: Coordinate with the warehouse and Operations to track and manage fulfillment and returns, ensuring operational efficiencies.
  11. Ecommerce Strategy: Oversee and contribute to the development and implementation of ecommerce strategies, aligning with overall business goals.

Requirements:

  • Experience: A minimum of 6 years of ecommerce management experience, with a focus on Shopify.
  • Team Management: Demonstrated ability in team management, particularly in customer service and site merchandising.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
  • Analytical Proficiency: Proficiency in web analytics and business analytics, with a solid understanding of Shopify and Google Analytics.
  • Project Management: Proven project management skills, with the ability to adhere to strict deadlines.
  • Technical Understanding: Technical understanding for effective collaboration with web development agencies is essential, including the ability to manage web development projects, including testing and implementation.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
Estimated Compensation: $120,000 - $130,000 Per Year
