Job Summary:
We’re in search of an adept Ecommerce Site Merchandiser with a knack for data analytics and SEO expertise to bolster the team for high end brand. The ideal candidate will blend eCommerce Platform proficiency with a keen understanding of fashion merchandising, ensuring the ecommerce platform optimally showcases the products and enhances customer experiences. Experience supporting a significant-size eCommerce business with demonstrated growth preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to seamlessly roll out new collections and product launches.
- Craft and curate product pages, refining elements such as imagery, copy, pricing, and inventory management.
- Employ data analytics to continuously scrutinize site metrics, enabling informed decisions that boost sales and foster customer engagement.
- Monitor inventory levels closely, liaising with the merchandising team to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Remain abreast of industry trends and best practices to keep our site competitive in the marketplace.
- Foster cross-functional synergy with marketing, design, and development units to ensure a cohesive and smooth site experience.
- Align merchandising decisions swiftly with business goals and brand vision.
- Regularly update the site with new offerings and adjust as needed to maximize sales and customer interactions.
- Harness Shopify’s search functionality to elevate both on-site and off-site search results.
- Create and manage content, including copy and metadata, to bolster search engine visibility and user experience.
- Provide support and refinement to SEO strategies, ensuring product and category pages are optimized for maximum impact.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in merchandising, marketing, or a related field.
- 3+ years of direct merchandising experience in fashion, particularly within an ecommerce setting with sizable revenue
- Proficiency in Shopify or other industry standard eCommerce platform, coupled with a deep understanding of its merchandising capabilities.
- Strong grasp of product development, pricing strategies, inventory management, and product positioning.
- Analytical prowess to dissect site metrics and drive data-informed decisions. Ideally experience with GA4
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly across departments.
- Detail-oriented approach with the ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Proven ability to make swift decisions aligned with business objectives and brand identity.
- Creative flair to differentiate products and optimize the overall shopping journey.
