We are actively seeking a Senior WMS Engineer, a vital role in our organization, blending technical expertise in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Warehouse Execution Systems (WES) with a strategic vision for operational excellence. Key Responsibilities

  • WMS and WES Systems Administration: Act as the primary systems administrator for both WMS and WES, ensuring their stable and efficient operation. Responsibilities include system troubleshooting, upgrades, and maintenance.
  • ? ERP Systems Expertise: Demonstrate a strong understanding of ERP systems and their integration with WMS and WES. Ensure that these systems work in harmony to support overall business objectives.
  • Process Re-engineering and Optimization: Lead initiatives in process re-engineering to enhance warehouse efficiency. Implement optimization strategies to streamline operations, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
  • New System Selection and Implementation: Spearhead the selection and implementation of new WMS solutions. Oversee their integration with ERP systems, ensuring a smooth and effective transition.
  • Operational Management and Productivity Enhancement: Manage the daily operations of WMS and WES. Focus on leveraging these systems to improve warehouse productivity and operational efficiency. Support a flawless Back to School (Peak Season) experience for our customers through stable Warehouse operations of all applications
  • Strategic Planning and Project Management: Develop strategic plans for warehouse operations. Lead projects focused on technology upgrades and process improvements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Utilize strong communication skills to effectively bridge the gap between operations and technology. Collaborate with various teams and departments, ensuring a unified approach to warehouse management.
  • Best Practice Audits and Industry Expertise: Conduct audits and provide consultancy services, leveraging your deep knowledge of industry best practices in warehousing and material handling.
  • Compliance and Best Practices Implementation: Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations. Regularly update and enforce best practices for operational efficiency and safety.

.Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research, or related field.
  • 10+ years’ experience working with WMS, WES, and ERP Systems in a Warehouse Operations environment.
  • 5+ years experience working in a Warehouse Operations environment with detailed understanding of how products and information flow through a modern warehouse
  • Strong emphasis on the importance of collaboration with operations leadership to ensure technological initiatives are seamlessly integrated into operational strategies, enhancing overall efficiency and productivity
  • Proven experience managing the evaluation, selection, delivery and performance of technology solution providers and offerings.
  • Thorough understanding of modern application development frameworks.
  • Demonstrated understanding and familiarity with standard IT process and application development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Fulfillment industry trends, market forces, regulatory environment and business strategy; must be able to translate business strategy into architecture requirements.
  • Proven experience creating business-oriented presentations to communicate rationale for WMS investments and decisions
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and verbal communication skills in order to demonstrate thought leadership, promote guidelines/standards, establish oversight controls, facilitate solution design review among cross-functional stakeholder groups, establish buy-in, build consensus, surface key requirements, mentor associates and drive change,
  • Proven ability in process re-engineering and optimization in a warehouse setting.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise between operational and technological
  • departments.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Estimated Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000 Per Year
