Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of the ERP implementation from procure-to-pay, service management, project and customer lifecycle, materials management, accounting and general technical topics.
- Lead the ERP requirements gathering and selection process for a successful ERP deployment.
- Work with selected vendor to successfully implement a new ERP system across the platform.
- Develop project plans, including staffing, training, communication, interface development, testing, data conversion, cutover, contingency, and evolution plans.
- Develop functional training, including workflow mapping and ERP processes.
- Develop and implement risk assessment planning and mitigation.
- Gather change requests and optimize ERP in alignment with the business’s growth strategy.
- Coordinates project tasks with designated project team.
- Facilitates issue resolution and keeps the project moving within defined plan parameters.
- Provides strategic, expert advice and consultation on the design and implementation of effective administrative and business processes that include process analysis, redesign, re-engineering, and organizational effectiveness.
- Ensures completion of deliverable in accordance with project schedule and budget.
- Tracks milestones and timelines across projects and institutes necessary work flow, personnel and financial resource allocations.
- Timely communication of project status to both clients and executive management.
- Anticipate subject matter experts satisfaction concerns and address them prior to becoming an issue of consequence
- Coordinate with internal corporate and implementation partner resources for all project activities
- Monitor and approve all timesheet and expense reporting activities for all subordinates
- Provide routine follow up to ensure the team is on track with each of their deliverables
- Ensure scope, budget and timeline are clearly understood and managed in a timely fashion
- Provide routine status reports and dashboards as to the progress and health of the project
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ year’s project management experience
- Experience managing large scale Microsoft Dynamics projects and implementations
- Proven track record in managing multiple resources in delivering process improvement
- Possess the ability to manage resources (both onsite and remote)
- Demonstrated repeated ability to achieve project objectives on time, on budget and within the scope
- Workshop facilitation
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Able to travel by air and/or ground 50%
Desired Skills
- PMP certification is a must
- Dynamics 365 F&SC implementation experience
- Field Service implementation experience desired
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
