SUMMARY:
Partners with business departments to identify and define enhancements to existing business systems and processes. Support all IT systems, including telecommunications, network, hardware and software, duplication equipment, POS system and eCommerce sites.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze the system needs of the company and establish priorities; maintain or implement business application systems.
  • Plan, manage, coordinate, and implement solutions that meet business requirements.
    • Translate all business process into existing technologies and/or develop innovative solutions.
    • Collaborate with developers to establish the technical solution; analyze the usability and performance of newly developed applications.
    • Ensure that business requirements defined are satisfied in system enhancements.
    • Manager projects and lead IT teams and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery within deadlines.
  • Improves business processes and support critical business strategies by managing the development, implementation, and maintenance of business applications systems.
  • Run analysis on vendor and departmental performance/data. Examine, draw conclusions, and recommend actions.
    • Defines EDI standards and achieve compliance. Implements best practices that maximize departmental efficiencies.
  • Manage IT department, including purchasing and budgeting. Monitor expenditures.
  • Develop and implement all IT policies and procedures with EVP/CFO and where appropriate CEO.
  • Acts as the primary liaison between vendors, business units, accounting and IT departments.
  • Supervise activities of staff. Assign tasks, objectives, territories, product responsibilities and the like to direct reports, and through coaching, performance evaluation, and feedback, enable those direct reports to perform their duties and to achieve departmental and company objectives.
  • Create development plans for staff and identify solutions for any gaps in skills/resources; identify career paths.
  • Other projects or duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
  • 10+ years of business analysis experience with knowledge of retail business; EDI knowledge required, with at least 3 years in a management role.
  • Must have prior experience of development and implementation of EDI systems.
  • Knowledge of BlueCherry and Shopify highly preferred. Skills using SQL or Access to manage at at times manipulate database beneficial.
  • Able to think strategically, identify problems, develop practical solutions, and guide their implementation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Estimated Compensation: $150,000 - $175,000 Per Year
