PLM Technical Architect/Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled PLM Technical Architect/Engineer to join our team and take charge of our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems administration, workflow design and optimization, user support, integration, and data migration. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and effective utilization of our PLM systems, as well as driving continuous improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency across our organization.

Responsibilities:
 

  1. PLM System Administration:
  • Manage and administer the BeProduct PLM system, ensuring optimal performance, data integrity, and security.
  • Configure and customize the PLM system to align with the organization’s product development processes and workflows.
  1. Integration and Data Migration:
  • Implement and maintain integrations between BeProduct and other enterprise systems, such as BlueCherry ERP, and NuORDER B2B platform.
  • Oversee data migration efforts, ensuring accurate and timely transfer of product-related data.
  1. Workflow Design and Optimization:
  • Design and optimize PLM workflows to streamline product development processes and enhance collaboration among cross-functional teams.
  • Implement best practices for change management, version control, and release processes within the PLM system.
  1. User Support:
  • Address user inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with vendors for technical support when needed.
  • Define and manage user roles and access controls to ensure proper data access based on organizational roles.
  1. Customization and Development:
  • Work closely with business teams to customize BeProduct PLM features and functionalities based on business requirements.
  • Collaborate on the development of extensions, plugins, or custom applications to enhance the PLM system.
  1. Documentation and Reporting:
  • Create and maintain documentation for PLM system configurations, customizations, and processes.
  • Generate reports and analytics to provide insights into product design and development, and production and sourcing metrics

Qualifications:
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a PLM Administrator, Developer, or Architect, with a focus on cloud based solution (preferably BeProduct.)
  • Strong understanding of product development processes and lifecycle management.
  • Proficiency in configuring and customizing PLM systems.
  • Experience with data migration, integration, and system optimization.
  • Knowledge of software development practices and methodologies.
  • Experience utilizing Low/No Code platforms to build applications
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:
 

  • BeProduct or relevant training.
  • Project Management skills/Agile development
  • Programming skills (e.g., JavaScript) for customization and development.
  • API development and maintenance.

 

Estimated Compensation: $130,000 - $150,000 Per Year
