Summary:
The Junior Accountant assists the Accountant and Finance Department. The Junior Accountant is responsible for posting journal entries and updating financial statements. The Junior Accountant is responsible for preparing financial information and reports. Responsible to assist the Accountant and Finance Department with processing financial information and statements, reviewing expenses, payroll expenditures and other records. The Junior Accountant is responsible for updating financial information and ensuring accurate information. The Junior Accountant should posses excellent organizational skills, great attention to detail and strong mathematic skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
Performing accounts payable and receivable reconciliations.
Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
Assist with reviewing expenses and other financial information.
Update financial databases and ensure all information is accurate and immediately available when needed.
Prepare any necessary reports.
Support and assist the Accountant and Finance Department with any tasks or projects.
Excellent organizational skills.
Great attention to detail.
Strong math skills and good with numbers and figures.
Excellent computer knowledge.
Any other duties and responsibilities as directed.
Abilities and Physical Requirements:
Must be able to pass a drug test.
Education: Bachelors Degree in Accounting – CPA a plus
