Requirements:
- Fire Sprinkler Estimating Experience, a must.
- Understanding of building/ construction codes.
- Mathematically inclined and have attention to detail.
- Be able to read all forms of architectural, civil, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Understanding sprinkler designs.
- Have an understanding of take-off software such as: bid site take off software, AutoCAD, blue beam, etc.
- Must have an understanding of how to calculate job costs, overhead, profit.
- Worked with Salesforce and Procore is a plus.
- Be able to review and understand Contracts.
- Follow up with new bids and business development. Take advantage of contacts and network (A big plus)
- Must have good people skills over the phone and in person meetings.
- Must have knowledge of Microsoft software to complete estimates and proposals: Word, Excel, Outlook.
