The Senior Human Resources Manager, Warehouse Management Systems Training, is responsible for leading and executing all training and upskilling initiatives for the organization’s Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), with the goal of developing high-performing, industry-leading talent within the Organization. Building a high-demand skills workforce is essential for the business to remain competitive and adaptable in a rapidly changing environment.
This position plays a crucial role, providing training programs and development opportunities to expand employees’ abilities and minimize skill gaps by developing, implementing, and managing training programs that ensure our warehouse staff are proficient in the use of our systems. This position requires strong background in human resources, training & development, and familiarity with warehouse operations.
Reporting to: Director Human Resources
Location:  Dayton New Jersey. Onsite 5 days/week
Responsibilities:          

  • Design and rollout training programs that align with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and department heads, including operations, IT, and training, to assess training needs and develop training plans for warehouse management systems.
  • Coordinate training logistics, including scheduling sessions, booking facilities, and managing training materials and resources.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms, make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and track employee progress and participation in training programs, ensuring compliance with training requirements and deadlines.
  • Ensure that our employees become better positioned for additional responsibilities and higher-level roles within the organization.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership to integrate WMS training initiatives with broader talent development and succession planning strategies
  • Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies related to warehouse management systems and incorporate relevant updates into training programs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational development, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of seven years of experience in human resources management, with a focus on training and development.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs in a warehouse or logistics facility.
  • Exceptional understanding of warehouse management systems and their impact on business operations and employee performance.
  • Strong project management expertise, with ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external partners.
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and other training technology platforms.
Estimated Compensation: $110,000 - $115,000 Per Year
