JOB SUMMARY: 

Reporting to our COO, the IT Director will lead the short—and long-term strategic planning and implementation of  Global IT strategies. The position will lead a team responsible for day-to-day operations, including short—and long term planning and implementing global IT strategies while providing secure, reliable, innovative, and modern  software and cloud solutions to support companys overall retail business in the North Americas region (USA, Mexico,  Canada).  

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

As the leader of the IT organization for the North America region, the position will be ultimately responsible for  advancing the priorities and overall IT vision of the company. These include the following: 

• IT Systems as a Value Enabler 

o Manage and support IT systems (i.e., Point-of-Sale, OMS, ERP, CRM, Digital) that work to bring  value and efficiencies to the business 

o Work closely with HQ IT, ensuring alignment in group initiatives. 

o Develop functional security skills and partner with the business to provide security awareness o Leverage our global application solutions portfolio at the regional level. 

o Drive digital transformation omnichannel technologies implemented at the group level to bring a  higher level of service to our end customers 

• IT Back Office ERP / Supply Chain Support /EDI 

o Work with HQ teams for SAP Implementation Strategy 

o Ensure that current B2B/Wholesale Back-of-House Business Processes are appropriately  supported by IT Teams 

o Oversee EDI Strategy for B2B/WHO customers  

• User Focus and Efficient IT Services 

o Responsible for keeping users as a top priority for all IT systems 

o Develop, align, and communicate service levels to our end-users 

o Make sure that project methodology is used across all IT teams 

• Global IT Implementation 

o Responsible for monitoring and administering the regional IT budget 

o Look for opportunities where externalizing resources is relevant to provide a higher level of service  award to minimize cost 

o Wherever possible, take advantage of global purchasing contracts that provide the best pricing for  the group, not just an individual affiliate. 

o Responsible for adhering to group standards 

REQUIREMENTS:  

EDUCATION  

• A bachelor’s degree or business management degree is preferred, or equivalent experience is required for  the role.

EXPERIENCE 

• 10+ years of experience in a retail IT leadership/management position with experience in leading cross functional teams and large-scale global projects, operating and influencing effectively across the  organization and within complex contexts 

• Demonstrated experience directing and managing within the retail environment and working with different  teams to achieve objectives  

• Previous experience delivering customer-focused solutions such as ERP (SAP or equivalent), point-of-sale,  order management systems (Ship-from-Store/Ship-to-Store), Supply Chain 3PL and EDI implementations. 

• Experience in planning and project management scopes. Analyzing project length, difficulty, and costs.  Ability to break down work into process steps. Ability to develop a schedule and assign resources to tasks.  Ability to anticipate and adjust for problems and roadblocks. Ability to measure performance and evaluate  resources. Engage stakeholders periodically to provide them with the progress of execution. 

• Decision-making—making decisions based on experience, data analysis, reliance on team feedback, costs,  and internal and external resources to arrive at the most justified solution to issues in our retail  environment. 

• Be able to be solution-focused. Engage global resources as needed. 

• Be open to implementing new technologies and focus IT resources to deliver user-focused solutions. 

Hard Skillset requirements: 

• Knowledge in the following areas is crucial to a successful candidate in this position: o Project Management 

o Data Management: SQL, Data Integration Platforms IpaaS (i.e.: Azure IpaaS or Mulesoft, Software  AG Webmethods) 

o Point of Sale Systems: Cegid Business Retail (CBR), Manhattan POS 

o Manhattan OMS / Active Omni / Knowledge of REST APIs 

o Reporting Tools: Qliksense, SSRS, IBM Cognos Analytics 

o IT Cloud Infrastructure Management 

PHYSICAL & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS 

• Travel may be required at different times throughout the year

Estimated Compensation: $160,000 - $200,000 Per Year
