This New York based, global fashion luxury apparel retailer came to us from their parent company that has been a long standing client of ours for over 20 years. Our initial conversations began about a year and a half ago when there was an opportunity to replace a departing CIO which was delivered in under eight weeks. During that time, they became an extremely active client and have repeatedly turned back to our team for assistance in supporting multiple IT positions. Throughout our partnership, we’ve enlisted our entire team to rebuild and build out their existing IT team. In fact, we’ve partnered with their leadership to make 9 placements within the past year and a half for a variety of IT roles including: Business Analysts, Developers, Supply Chain, Systems Administrators, Managers of EDI, and more!
Most recently, our team was called upon to recruit two direct hires to support a very specialized MS Dynamics 365 migration project. Our team was able to meet their expectations by presenting approximately 10 candidates for permanent placement over a six month period. However, the challenge was finding someone who had the direct experience and specific skillset required to lead a migration from AX to MS Dynamics 365.
After a full assessment of their business objectives, we suggested a transitionary strategy to supply their team with subject matter experts who would convert from consultants to permanent Business Analysts (BAs) within 90 days. They quickly made the decision to move forward with our improvised hiring strategy and we began interviewing MS Dynamics 365 consultants. We were able to negotiate a contract-to-hire agreement with two consultants who were just finishing their contracts and seeking their next engagement. They hired the consultants and both started the following week.
Ultimately, our team was quick to respond with targeted candidates and pivot (as needed) to fill these critical roles and drive their migration project forward. The project is back on track and we’re already in discussions to assist with several new job orders in the coming months.
Their parent company continues to hire our team to support multiple brands within the parent company. We’ve proven ourselves time and time again to support them in filling some of their most important vacancies!
