The Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing large sets of data and creating reports to support business decisions. Focus will be on using data driven analysis to identifying trends and issues.
The ideal candidate should have a Master’s degree in a relevant field such as statistics, mathematics, economics or computer science, and a strong understanding of data analysis methodologies. Role will be working with internal cross functional teams across the company as well as external teams.
Responsibilities:
Analyze large datasets using statistical methods to identify trends, patterns, and insights
Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and visualizations to support business decision-making
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for data-driven insights and improvements
Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
Monitor data quality and perform data cleansing as needed
Align with and help establish / manage data governance standards to support overall corporate reporting and KPIs
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data analysis techniques and tools
Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Strong analytical skills and proficiency with data analysis tools such as SQL, Python
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
MicroStrategy strongly preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Knowledge of statistical analysis methods and techniques
Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and techniques is a plus
Supply chain and commercial background within the fashion industry (retail / wholesale)
